Overview

Disappointing turn for the Spierig Brothers. Despite a few decent jump scares, this is flat movie. I was bored most of the time. The Winchester House has such a rich history I’m surprised that they produced something so dull. It plays like a checklist for haunted house movies. I’ve toured the house (and created a video about my visit) and they barely touch on what truly makes the house unique. Can only give a mild thumbs up for Helen Mirren and Jason Clarke, who both give good effort in a lifeless story.
