Stuck around at my theater for the Fathom Events screening of this in its original Japanese language. I recently saw this in 35mm at Music Box last December but it was the English dub. Not in my top favorites from Studio Ghibli but still an enjoyable fantasy that is more a message about inclusion than pollution.
Last year Fathom did the whole GKids Studio Ghibli series in theaters and now they’re doing it again. I guess they have an agreement do keep running this or they were lucrative enough last year to repeat it. Hopefully I’ll be able to see a few more throughout the year.
