More Takeshi Kitano.
Very rough sit. Basically abuse porn with Kitano portraying a vile human that seeds violence throughout his life and family to destructive and tragic ends.
Cannot imagine making this movie was fun for anyone and I wonder why this novel was adapted as there is no redeeming qualities here. Only exception would be the amazing acting by all involved that made this feel so real.
7/10 for that but not a film I would watch again.
