Helluva film by Paul Schrader and perhaps one of his best in recent years. Plenty of layers to this religion vs science narrative with a self-destructive priest at the center. Definitely social commentary on all the above including a serious jab at big corporation and religion. Ethan Hawke is shows once again just how great he is in a quiet role. Schrader Q&A was p damn good too. Wish it was longer as he says so many crazy things.
