Viewing Notes

Closing night film! Last movie of CCFF. Damn good film that is a great cringe watch w/a crowd. You can really sympathize with this 8th grade girl and how she tries to be accepted among her peers and others. Touching and painful at times. Excellent Q&A with director Bo Burnham who had a large fanbase at the sold out screening. There was actually an 8th grader in line for questions so he brought him on stage to ask his question and it was one of the better questions!

I hope the star of this movie Elsie Fisher goes on to become a huge star.
