Viewing Notes

Pretty wild to see Eastwood’s directorial debut with this short film featurette of a behind the scenes look at THE BEGUILED. The story of this short film is more fascinating as it was once considered “lost” but showed up on the spreadsheet of available films from Universal when Chicago Film Society was looking up prints to acquire. As they explained there is so little known about the short film bc it was never really commercially released therefore so few I ever even seen it.
