Heard mixed things in this when it initially came out. Not sure what the beef was then bc I fully enjoyed this. John Hawkes makes this work as a believable drunk ex-cop and he’s surrounded by a good cast.

Also thought this was directed by the same dude that did TOO LATE bc of that cast. Doesn’t have the same dialogue zingers (thankfully) but has a similar tone and story (mystery around a murdered girl caught up in a sex ring).
