Opening night!
Really enjoyed this genre mash-up set in Wisconsin (filmed in Louisiana). Book of Eli x The Road x Mad Max x Warriors wrapped in a broken marriage road movie. Impressive debut by Mike Nelson.
Great opener for the festival.
Perfect film to kick off Cinepocalypse Film Festival. Basically BOOK OF ELI x THE ROAD x MAD MAX with a WARRIORS post-apocalypse premise wrapped around a broken marriage road movie. Really enjoyed this crazy violent love story set in Wisconsin. Good energy and solid cast. Loved seeing the Orion Pictures logo!
