Viewing Notes

Updated the OS on my LG HDTV tonight and Mubi was now available as an app channel. So I installed and fired this up since it was expiring at midnight.

Bad movie worth seeing. Just bizarro. “Based on the sermons of a Southern Baptist preacher and directed by notorious exploitation filmmaker Ron Ormond.”

“This film was rescued from the best surviving elements, after the original 16mm negatives were destroyed in a flood in 2010, and a fading and deteriorated dupe negative was restored. The soundtrack was preserved from original magnetic 16mm masters, sounding better than any other version.” —NWR on MUBI
