Viewing Notes
Give this a bump for actually using Nathan Fillion in an UNCHARTED flick given he’s been the guy everyone wanted for so long (but not a big enough name to hang a 100+ million franchise on, apparently). Stephen Lang is nice to see but I’d rather see someone like Sam Elliot for Sully.
What knocks this down a notch is they could’ve been more true to Nathan Drake’s actual attire, which is pretty much the same in every game. Note: I’m coming off a recent replay off the first 3 Uncharted games and nearing completion on my 3rd play-through on the 4th game so I’ve seen plenty of Nathan Drake this year. In this fan film, it’s close enough but those details could’ve taken it up… for example, Nate always wears hiking boots, not lace-up shoes.
Anyways, this is a fun example of what could’ve been. Would be neat to see if they make more of these to complete the story. Won’t make up for the lack of Uncharted games but still fun to watch.
