Viewing Notes

Here for Barbara Stanwyck. She’s terrific as usual in this murder mystery at a burlesque show. Not sure why this is listed as a comedy on IMDb bc it’s more crime drama between all these dancers. Mostly watchable bc of Stanwyck and a few other of the women here.

Too bad this is such a shit transfer… like a VHS rip dropped onto a DVD yet somehow worse. It’s part of a DVD set called “Diva Pack” featuring femme fatales in a bunch of oldies. I’ll give another flick a go but if it’s the same poor quality transfer I’ll give this back to the library.
