Viewing Notes
Tale of a down and out farm kid that loses his mom, moves in with his uncle & aunt in the city, befriends a bootlegger, gets arrested and sent to reform school where things aren’t as they seem. In fact the conditions are very bad so he escapes to expose the school which also means his bootlegger friend will go to jail.
Decent enough story but kinda dry overall. On the Diva DVD Set bc Bette Davis is in this for maybe 3 minutes total.
