Viewing Notes

I dug this! Maybe helped that I went in with very low expectations based on poor WOM. But this is p much Peter Berg doing his Peter Berg thing w/Wahlberg. Berg even does his signature cameo. I like the cast and the stakes. Plus it has Iko kicking ass in a couple of great sequences. Sure, it’s hyper edited but that’s to be expected. I like that Wahlberg’s character is a total asshole dick but of course under it all he still has a heart. Awwwwwww

Oh just remembered: during a particular crass exchange of dialogue between two primary characters (lots of f-bombs and other “dirty” words), a man and his son (I’m guessing) got up and walked out never to return. This was maybe 20-25 minutes into the movie!
