Viewing Notes
This screened in the recent Chicago Film Society season but I skipped going bc my library network had the DVD. I’ve decided to watch the films they program on DVD/Blu if available rather than making the trip to NEIU or MBT. If it’s not on home video I will go to the screening at NEIU.
Interesting flashback within a flashback flick. Wasn’t on board with this “black widow” themed story but it slowly progresses and gets more interesting. Goes from okay to very good by end. Still have a hard time believing Robert Mitchum’s character as an artist.
