Viewing Notes

Picked this up from the Northbrook Library when I was up there today for The Lodger screening. Figured I’d grab some Lorre films only they have in their catalog (knowing I was going to see his directorial debut in the evening). Viewing now for a Lorre double feature. Don’t think I’ve seen any of the Mr. Moto films but it’s interesting he was cast as an Asian (a la Karloff’s Dr. Wong and Sidney Toler’s Charlie Chan). This series was mentioned in Kyle’s intro to THE LOST ONE.

I probably need to see these from the beginning to get better context of this character and world but it feels similar to those others only more international w/the espionage plot.
