Expires tomorrow. This is rather amazing to see and a real treat (some clips of this performance are used in CODA and I was salivating then at them). Can’t say enough how envious I am of the audience there who got to witness this in such an intimate setting. Wonder how they were selected (ranges from Japanese business man to dude in a t-shirt). Overall I’m in awe of Sakamoto recreating his “async” in a live setting and using all his crazy methods for making ethereal sounds. He’s a mad genius.
Maybe I’ll watch it again (it’s only 65minutes) before it leaves MUBI.
