Viewing Notes

Library sent the wrong dvd but it’s been 9 years since I’ve seen this so I’m allowing it for Noirvember. Was disturbing to watch 9 years ago but even more so now given the climate we’re living in. One plus is using the San Francisco geography in the film. Fun seeing things like Coet Tower.

I’d listen to Eddie Muller’s Commentary if the movie wasn’t so uncomfortable. Interesting that 9 years this wasn’t available on DVD (viewed via TCM) but a year later these Film Noir collections were released.
