Viewing Notes

This movie / story goes out of its way to hate on women.

“I don’t want my wife working”

“You put on a little weight since you got married”

Broderick Crawford kills a person then wipes off the blood on his own coat? Gloria Grahame acting a little too much like Marilyn Monroe is weird but fine. Good chemistry between her and Ford.

Really solid flick w/a good story and hero, even tho he aggressively kisses Gloria Grahame, a married woman, without asking. So weird the woman hating in this but of course on par w/the times.
