When a group of young DIY artists in Santa Fe can’t find a door into the art world, they blow open an entirely new portal with their grit, passion, and tenacity. Within just a few short years – and with a little help from George R.R. Martin – this group called Meow Wolf ultimately hits a cultural nerve and garners massive, unexpected success with their exhibit, House of Eternal Return.

Surprised this is playing nationwide but glad they had the one night only event so I could see it… was only two of us in the entire theater. Ah well. This would be a hard one to sell to those outside of the Meow Wolf market.
Having been to the MW in Santa Fe it was neat to see the history and how it all came to be. Really had no idea how scrappy all these artists were and how challenging it was to take their MW brand to the next level. Curious how this will play to those that haven’t been to a MW or non-creative/artists but I think people should see this just for the spirit and determination.
Also had no idea they expanded to Denver and Las Vegas! I’ll have to visit those. Wouldn’t mind working for MW if it was the right job.
