Was very pleased that Criterion also included Tarkovsky’s short film on their release of THE KILLERS (1946). Would definitely consider buying this blu someday. 2.5 movies + plenty of supplements.
Anyways, I believe this was a student film and sadly only the first act of the story (was curious how they were able to do the whole story in 20 minutes but it’s not). As a short film it ends abruptly but you can see the craft and skill already present by these young directors. Especially in the framing.
