Viewing Notes

Now to end my evening looking back at the life of this legend. Shocked at the talent included here.

Well I teared up a few times. The moments with Stan and his wife Joan is just so beautiful and warm. Loved seeing all the celebrities and stars talk about Stan. Didn’t need to see Bryan Singer or Brett Ratner but this was made before all allegations came out.

Most impressed with all the photos and archive video footage in addition to all the interviews and references to Marvel characters. I don’t think this could be done today by an independent film team. Maybe Disney could make it but to get the licensing for all that stuff now would be difficult.

Stan Lee could’ve retired handsomely but loved what he did so much that he just kept doing what he was doing until the end. Remarkable man and story. Crazy how much of an impact he had on pop culture. Also he says some real nice things about Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko.
