Viewing Notes

Wild to see a documentary movie shot in Rockford. Also wild that two of the main characters move to Denver!

Not a skateboarding doc. Rather a look at the lives of these young men that were loosely tied together by skateboarding yet all come from broken families. Now they’re dealing with what that impact has on them. This is a very good doc looking at lives that are living lower than most in the middle class. It’s a side of Rockford that I did not experience.

For me these lives and experiences are mostly alien so I didn’t connect with them. But it still is quite touching watching these guys reconcile with their past and look toward the future.
