THIS IS A 2018 RELEASE THE ANIMATION LOOKS LIKE LATE 90S PLAYSTATION ONE
ACTUALLY WORSE
THE ENTIRE BUDGET WENT TO THE VOICE CAST
Despite the poor animation this is a pretty wild flick that is essentially a Lovecraftian story aimed towards the younger set. So gotta give it credit for that. It’s hilarious to hear all these animated characters deliver all this deep Lovecraft mythology. Since this is an animated adaptation of a graphic novel it makes sense to be so beholden to Lovecraft lore but I gotta think of how much would be lost on most kids that watch this. But still so funny to see them talk about the creation of the Necronomicon and Cthulhu within a animated family flick. If I had kids I totally have them watch this.
