Viewing Notes

Slim pickings this week but I did want to see this… I can understand why ppl were raving about the performances. John C. Reilly and Steve Coogan nail these roles. Like amazingly well. Coogan especially impressed me. Watching this I realized I haven’t seen much of Laurel and Hardy’s work (mostly clips) so I’m gonna check out some of their films now. The comedy bits they do in the film are genuinely funny.

Overall this is a nice yet somewhat sad look at the last years of their lives performing together. But how important their partnership was to both of them even when they didn’t always agree with each other.
