Wow I really like this. There were a few clips of this in the doc WHAT IS CINEMA that really caught my eye so I’m very happy this short is included on the DVD extras. The imagery reminds me of BEGOTTEN but what’s really neat is the treatment of the old film sequences of Keaton and Chaplin that basically look like acid and fire was used on actual film. Not sure what the process was but I’d like to know more.
Also want to see Solomon’s other experimental films.
