Min-jae, a rookie police officer with a natural born talent for driving, is assigned to the perfect team: the Hit-and-Run Squad. But at the same time, for police detective Si-yeon, it is a place she is unjustly demoted to for doing her job. The two team up to arrest the rich and powerful speed maniac Jae-chul who is suspected of committing crimes for his obsession for speed.

Viewing Notes
This may be a private screening. It was! Amazing to have the theater to myself. Sadly I suppose that was because the movie is not so good and the Korean folx were aware and stayed away.
For the typical 2-hour runtime, this film spends the first hour spinning its wheels. Like incredibly dull table setting that could’ve been done in half the time (like the intro the characters is supposed to establish their relationship and significance to each other that you ultimately discover doesn’t mean anything by the end! Frustrating. It’s as though this was written as a K-drama then compressed into a film and they weren’t sure what to cut.).
But into the second half things get exciting with the first major car race / chase then an event that really sets things off. I’d recommend just reading the synopsis then jumping an hour into this movie. Would be more enjoyable that way. It does get a bit ridiculous towards the end but more fun and thrilling.
