Another one from Martin Scorsese’s World Cinema Project box set 2. This reminds me of a Jodorowsky film in the look/feel, premise and pacing but without all the weird shit. I like this movie but it’s one that I feel would benefit from seeing in a theater, not a large theater more like the screening room at MBT. Quaint and personal. Poetry is a big part of the film and that’s how it reads, like a long, somber poem.
