Since it had been several years since I had seen this (and really had no recollection of the film despite having the title card as one of my wallpapers) I went over to NEIU for a 35mm presentation. Glad I did bc CFS printed out the punishment vote cards for the William Castle movie gimmick in the film: the audience votes for a mercy ending or punishment ending. So at the end of the film, Castle appears and asks the audience to hold up their vote as he looks out and adds up the votes. It’s a hilarious bit and pretty damn cool to experience with an audience. Glad I went to this screening.
