Viewing Notes

I honestly didn’t think this was a seventies film. Looks like late 80s / early 90s. Really good drama that it feels more real and less like a film (due in large part to the actors and how it’s filmed; the slaughter house opening is real AF). It’s on the World Cinema Project and the Scorsese intro is very nice. I’d like to see more of Lino Brocka’s films. Sadly many are still unavailable.
