Seeing the recent Nancy Drew adaptation by Katt Shea had me wanting to see other ND movies. This one stars Emma Roberts as Nancy!
This ain’t bad but a little soft despite some real “heroine in peril” moments. The best scene is when Nancy shows up on a movie set and the main actor is Bruce Willis (uncredited even) and she butts in on Adam Goldberg (the director) to educate him on the Miranda Rights. Then Bruce asks her to be the director. Sorry that’s a spoiler, I suppose, but it has no bearing on the actual plot.
