When a missing space trucker is discovered hungover and disoriented, his co-worker suggests a nightcap as a remedy. Near closing time, they are reluctantly allowed inside the colony supply depot where the trucker’s condition worsens, leaving a young supply worker alone to take matters into her own hands. Alien: Night Shift is one of six short films produced to celebrate the 40th anniversary of 1979’s Alien.

Another one of the short films created to celebrate the 40th anniversary of ALIEN. Also another single location setup, which is likely due to the format and budget constraints. This applies to all these Alien short films. My first thought: where in the timeline do these exist? This one it seems like no one is aware of the xenomorphs. But in CONTAINMENT, they all know they could be infected. In ORE I don’t think they are aware of the xenomorph.
