Viewing Notes
Yeah I had to do it. Wish there were more GotG movies! A little surprised that I haven’t revisited since it was in theater back in 2017. But I think after that third viewing I was rather tired of the daddy complex, which is the core value that underlines the premise. I feel better about it now as I’ve placed most of it on Yondu (over Ego) and he earns it.
While this movie is not the perfect film of the original GotG it still has plenty of great moments / sequences. Mostly all of them are Nebula / Rocket related. Natch. Drax and Groot are terrific as well. Love all the Ravagers stuff and hope they pay that off in GotGv3 (along w/the awesome Adam Warlock set up).
Of course this movie made me want to watch IW yet again to see where we leave off with Nebula.
