Viewing Notes

Thought it was weird that my library had this on the shelf but when I saw that Troma production logo it made sense. Not really a good documentary because I’m not really sure what the focus was meant to be… is it their podcast? Or this webcam event “VHS Massacre”? Or maybe the demise of VHS? Or the resurgence of VHS? It’s throwing sticky putty in multiple directions to capture all of it, I suppose. I give it a full star bump b/c they convinced Joe Bob Briggs to come to NYC and film his segment in the living room of their mother’s house. Frankly, I would’ve preferred a longer segment with him as he has the best things to say. Lloyd Kaufman on the other hand can fuck off.
