Viewing Notes

Finally picked this up after seeing LOGAN on a featured titles rack. I guess I get it. Very straight forward story of good versus evil. The homesteaders just want to live their lives but the rich cattle baron wants their land so he has his gang intimidate them. Then Shane shows up to help the homesteaders. Some excellent photography and performances. Always love seeing Elisha Cook Jr and Jack Palance pop up in these flicks. I’m not a Van Heflin fan and he’s really the main character so it knocked the movie down a half-star. Definitely want to revisit LOGAN now.
