Now in IMAX before Aladdin kicks it out tonight. Enjoyed it a little less on the second viewing but still like it more than JW2. The story is less compelling than the individual setpieces. It’s really a sequence of action moments (yes, that’s the definition of motion picture but not what i mean). I think the entire Adjudicator substory is dumb. It would be meaningful is there was a payoff to that bit.
I really hope they can do something different in the next film that doesn’t hinge on top martial arts dudes pulling their punches.
