Fairly generic V-Cinema production but I like what they do here on a shoestring budget. The description isn’t quite correct bc these are not children; they are 20-somethings that visit a deserted island to explore and play. Of course there is some kind of evil on the island that eventually kills each of these young people.
PQ on Prime is terrible. Akin to watching a streaming video in the late 90s. Lots of artifacts and raggedy edges. Turned on TruMotion smoothing but didn’t help much. Also the subtitles are sketch (either missing or slow or misspelled). However, I do like these DTV (V-cinema) flicks. The runtime on Prime is 65 yet the Cinema Epoch dvd has it at 83. Not sure what they cut but can’t imagine this being any more interesting at the longer runtime. It does everything it needs to in an hour.
