Overview

After losing their academic posts at a prestigious university, a team of parapsychologists goes into business as proton-pack-toting “ghostbusters” who exterminate ghouls, hobgoblins and supernatural pests of all stripes. An ad campaign pays off when a knockout cellist hires the squad to purge her swanky digs of demons that appear to be living in her refrigerator.

Viewing Notes

I don’t think I’ve seen this on the big screen! Pretty sure I didn’t see it big on release. Probably why I’m not so nostalgic for it. That said, I really enjoyed this viewing on the big screen. The chemistry in the cast works so well and Bill Murray shines. He really is the glue that makes the entire premise sing. Also was fun hearing the audience laugh at all the right moments.

This viewing also had me wondering if this is a horror comedy bc there are scares in this that the kids reacted to. Or is this a kaiju movie?
