Viewing Notes
First feature of Cinepocalypse Day 5! Slick, well-made dark comedy that feels like it’s forcing itself to be clever. When really it’s like Guy Richie was dropped into St. Petersburg for a couple of weeks to give his take on a crime / attempted murder / bad relationship all gone wrong. Hyper-violent and often amusing the real art is in the photography and editing. Despite committing one of my least favorite cinema tropes, this is still worth the watch.
