Viewing Notes

Give it a plus for tackling xenophobia (from two perspectives) and how shitty humans are. Also nice colorful animation given that the entire story takes place in the snow / mountains.

The minuses are mainly in the voice casting (honestly thought it was Branden Fraser until I looked it up) bc I really, really do not want to hear James Corden’s voice. In anything. Additionally the story softballs the entire xenophobia at the end.

I do like how this film creates this separate world for yeti to exist with the same thoughts around the questionable existence of man (“smallfoot”) that we have about them. Just wish it did more w/that idea.
