whoa this is what I’m talking about it. I really don’t think I could’ve watched this back when I got this DVD in 2009 b/c I would’ve remembered it. It’s a turn of the century steampunk horror flick with a flying Nautilus at a time when a plague is ravaging the land and people are dying. This small group of explorers go on a mission and bump into a huge flying fishing ship and discover the horror.
This is the kind of Oscar-nominated short film I would’ve LOVED to see on the big screen (when they do those events at AMC Theater leading up the Academy Awards). Impressive animation and a wicked story. Also sadly another example of why this collection needs to be remastered.
Absolutely would show this at a movie night short film showcase.
