The members of the Super GUTS force, one of whom is secretly Ultraman Dyna, are in the middle of a losing battle against an enormous monster on the surface of the moon, when suddenly a spaceship appears and saves them by zapping the beast. The crew of the ship claim to members of the world peace force that originally created the Super GUTS force, and they invite the GUTS members to enter their brainwave patterns into the ship’s battle computer so it can be a more effective fighting system. It sounds like a good idea, but could they have some other plan up their sleeves?

Second feature of the Red White & Purple marathon on DKUTV (to highlight Ultraman Tiga) and actually more of a Ultraman Dyna story and produced before the The Final Odyssey but clearly takes place after that story. Kinda weird. Also this was a TV special and not a theatrically released film like The Final Odyssey.
In this movie GUTS gets tricked (and specifically Shin Asuka/Dyna) by a alien-possessed scientist to give up all the fighter data that Dyna has so the aliens can create a super monster to conquer Dyna and the Earth. It works. But the people still believe in the now long gone Tiga and send them their light to resurrect him and save Dyna and the Earth.
It’s a little silly but the final battle sequences are great. Love seeing Dyna and Tiga team up. Really cool to see this one. Still pretty weird they created a full feature length Tiga film after this one that takes place before this one.
