Viewing Notes

Not a fan of going with 1:33:1 aspect ratio for a movie so beautifully shot. The photography is probably my favorite thing in this period drama presented like a modern mumblecore film. Despite this approach I wasn’t entirely taken with this adaptation. But nice performances from both sets of actors doing Heathcliff and Cathy.

Reminded me a lot of MEEK’S CUTOFF, another Oscilloscope release.
