Viewing Notes

Another James Bond knock-off and another West German production set in Italy yet meant to be US/Amsterdam. Such a bizarre story. Unfortunately this is a fairly rough transfer and also a Sprocket Films title so it’s cut and dubbed and looks not so hot. That said, this is totally the kind of stupid secret agent flick I enjoy so I’d be all for a good release of this. Not even sure if one exists but I’d support it. Plus the gorgeous duo of Marisa Mell and Margaret Lee.

Piggybacking off my comments for Code 7, Victim 5 that I watched last night, this is another one of those 1960s films that could’ve starred an actor like Rick Dalton from OUATIH. In fact the lead actor is “Ray Danton” as Bryan Cooper aka Super Dragon. So how about that! If you compare careers of real life Danton to Dalton they are *very* similar. Guessing QT modeled a bit of Rick from the RL Ray. God, I love these associations and makes me love OUATIH more.
