Viewing Notes

Yep! This is basically like UNCHARTED the video game with a lot less murder. So yeah I dug it. I’m giving it an extra bump for the representation (primary cast all Latinx). That made my heart swell knowing there will be those viewing this that will see themselves in this movie.

Isabela Moner is super charismatic and embraces the role. Very amused how they tied the Dora the Explorer tv show into this w/the various gags (got a lot of laughs from my audience). The story is very predictable but doesn’t detract from the overall charm. Accepting this as a wholesome family affair w/a few thrills made for a fun viewing. Not sure how successful this will be but I’d love for a sequel before Moner gets older.
