Overview
Two sisters on Mexican vacation are trapped in a shark observation cage at the bottom of the ocean, with oxygen running low and great whites circling nearby, they have less than an hour of air left to figure out how to get to the surface.

Viewing Notes
Now watching bc I haven’t seen it and wondering if I should make time for the sequel out this week.
So I didn’t hate this and it grew on me as it went along. So weird that all that background character stuff shoved into this unnecessarily so to make Mandy Moore’s character seem weak. Yet they could’ve lopped that front end off and just presented her on the boat as being scared shitless to go in the water and it would’ve been fine. So basically this coulda been a 70 minute movie.
The underwater stuff was pretty good not knowing what was going on w/the boat above and the women trying to survive this even tho every time one of them would leave the cage I was like, “YO THERE ARE BIG FUCKING SHARKS OUT THERE DUMMY”.
Not great but I was engaged so for that reason I’ll go see the sequel that doesn’t feature any of the same characters.
