Viewing Notes

Wanted to revisit this before going to see ANGEL HAS FALLEN. Haven’t seen since I saw in theater and forgot how incredibly violent that initial takeover of the Whitehouse is. Damn. Of course most of the action is over the top yet it’s fun to suspend belief that this one ex-secret service agent has the means to do all that and save the world. I like Gerard Butler in this role and I like Aaron Eckhart portraying how a real president should be and act. The really did Ashley Judd dirty here but I get it. Also wish Rick Yune wasn’t the bad guy.

Anyways, I believe my opinion has softened and I have more appreciation for how nuts they went with this film. Now I want to revisit LONDON HAS FALLEN if I can get the Blu from the library.
