Overview

Viewing Notes
After a long day watching my new AC handler get installed I decided to get out for a bit and do a $6 Tuesday screening. Heard mixed on this but I was curious given the cast + director.
I cried. Guess that says enough however I will say that I was mildly annoyed by the rich white people problems for the first two thirds. The final third really got to me so I can favorably rate this yet totally understand why this was panned by the critics.
Cate Blanchett is excellent as always and I really like Billy Crudup here despite not entirely being able to sympathize with their characters. I did relate to the family dynamic when the other stuff was peeled away. I think I prefer Kristen Wiig in a supporting role. She’s very good in this.
