The WITCHCRAFT series viewing continues… at this point 4 movies into this I’m not sure if they are getting better or worse. These last two have been about warlocks fighting the evil. This one is notable because Penthouse Pet Julie Strain is one of the main characters. So of course it features nudity and sex. Having seen her in a number of flicks, she’s not bad here. Not great but given these films she’s actually a standout.
The movie is about some warlock that runs a night club and strip joint. Somehow he’s got people possessed to do his bidding, which is never quite clear. The good warlock discovers something is awry and gets involved with Belladonna, Julie Strain’s character. This involves a showdown between good and evil warlocks. The good warlock is so wooden and dull you kinda hope he goes down.
Anyways this is dumb movie but I did like seeing Julie during better times. She’s currently dealing with several ailments that have greatly affected her health.
UPDATE: right after posting this got an update on Julie Strain from FB. She’s now receiving 12hrs/day care from a care giver yet still requires more b/c her health is so poor. This saddens me b/c she’s only a few years older than me. Things don’t appear to be going well for her. Hoping for a better outcome but it’s looking grim.
