Not crazy how the turtles look (and look different from each other, diff head shapes) but I dig the mashup between these two IPs. Had this been released in the late 80s it would’ve been my favorite thing ever. Kinda wild that it goes hard R violence amidst the humor of it all (ex. one of the Foot gets a batarang to the skull and is killed).
I like that Batman is the superior fighter between him & the TMNT b/c they are after all just teenagers.
Yes, it’s really just a novelty but a fun one for sure. Def has some LOL comedy beats. Love the turtles attitude and would love to see a live action adaptation. Batgirl is great. Overall very amusing albeit slight. All the pizza stuff is great. What’s really neat is that the director notes (in the extras) that “Batman meeting the TMNT isn’t any more crazy than Batman meeting Martian Manhunter and he does that everyday.” Great point!
I’d watch this again and wouldn’t mind owning it.
This made me want to read the comics. Wonder if there’s a graphic novel collection. Will check the library.
