Is this really based on a true story? Very curious about that but would appreciate this even more if that’s the case. Perhaps even weirder since it’s really a dark comedy about the panic over people getting possessed from drinking Coca-Cola (Coca-Louca in the film) introduced to Portugal in the 1920s…. based off an advertising campaign, “First you’ll be surprised, then you will possessed.”
